Until February 7, the Agency for Small and Medium Enterprises accepts applications for financing the participation of Bulgarian producers in the exhibition. The Ministry of Interior and the Sofia Municipality will present their specialized units for combating terrorism and emergency prevention in the STROIKO Safety section.
"In search of a high-tech home and city" is the theme of the 53rd STROIKO EXPO exhibition. This became clear today at a press conference for the spring exhibition, which will be held from March 25 to 29 at the National Palace of Culture.
Margarita Nikolova, manager of the exhibition, opened with the words: "STROIKO 2000" is our trademark. We put the number 2000 in the name of the exhibition 27 years ago, because the year 2000 seemed to us to be something very distant in the future, like in a novel by Arthur Clarke. We are now 2020. We decided to look at how far we have come in the future, without neglecting the traditional. I know we are on the right track, I am glad that so many people and organizations are behind us. "
Until February 7, Bulgarian producers can apply for assistance to participate in STROIKO, said the Executive Director of the Executive Agency for Promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises Boyko Takov. Currently there are 7 companies that have met the requirements of the agency. "We are happy with the interest that the companies show in STROIKO. In our agency we really want to support the Bulgarian exhibitions, which are getting stronger. ”He presented 5 financial instruments, 2 voucher schemes and the National Innovation Fund to support Bulgarian companies.
Margarita Nikolova stressed that without the support of the National Palace of Culture, STROIKO would not be what it is now. The central location, the beautiful architecture, the renovated interior and the extremely professional team are a prerequisite for the sustainable presence of the exhibition, she said.
Borislav Velkov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Palace of Culture, said: “We have been under one roof for 27 years. These are many traditions, many interactions, many mutual lessons. The direction you have taken, the direction of technology and the security of the home and the environment. The good news is that in all this technology in which we live, man is once again becoming the center of attention. And everything that we at the National Palace of Culture and you do is in the service of man, his needs and the needs supported by technology. For us, your jump is very important because we have the same policy. Apart from being a cultural center, the National Palace of Culture is also a congress and conference center. This will be a priority for us this year. Because despite the technology, despite the ability to see everything from a distance, the meeting between people remains key. "
Arch. Borislav Ignatov, municipal councilor and member of the Chamber of Architects, as a patron of the accompanying program, said "STROIKO is an exceptional event in its essence, because it is the only professional exhibition that treats construction, architectural and interior work, aimed at the general public. Because the modern world is just that. Modern technology has allowed us all to be much more involved with professionals in decision-making and home management. STROIKO is focused on how to make our homes smart together and how to make our cities smart together. These are all strategies that we will present at the exhibition this year. "
"How do innovations practically help harmonious interaction between people and cities?" How do new technologies create a secure environment and a safe home? These issues made us develop the STROYKO Safety section ", said Ms. Nikolova. She announced that from this spring the BCCI SECURITY exhibition will join for a joint organization. In this section, the partners of the exhibition are the Ministry of Interior and Sofia Municipality.
The structures of the Ministry of Interior will be presented with separate stands, demonstrations and presentations and lectures are planned in the seminar part of the exhibition. The specialized counter-terrorism team will demonstrate a robot for the disposal of explosives and protective clothing used by the berets. The Institute of Psychology will present the work of providing specialized psychological assistance.
Mladen Petrov, Director of the Communication and Information Systems Directorate of the Ministry of Interior, also said that at the end of 2017 the Ministry of Interior together with Sofia Municipality started the process of building a unified platform for combining information from existing and emerging video surveillance systems. opportunity for exchange of information between different systems, focusing on crime prevention and improvement of road safety and protection activities.
The exhibition brings together all innovations for harmonious interaction between people, their homes and the environment in which they live, presenting a full cycle of sustainable interaction with green technologies and innovations.
